$19.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscaping Crew Leader to lead and support commercial landscape installation projects. This position is responsible for coordinating daily crew activities, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring assigned projects are completed efficiently. The ideal candidate will have commercial landscaping experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and support landscaping crews during daily jobsite operations. Assist with landscape installation tasks, including sod installation, irrigation, grading, trenching, planting, and site preparation. Assign daily tasks and coordinate crew workflow. Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to established quality standards. Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment needed for assigned projects. Monitor job progress and address onsite concerns or delays. Promote and enforce safe work practices and procedures. Communicate professionally with supervisors, crew members, customers, and other jobsite contacts. Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and condition of work vehicles, tools, and equipment. Identify jobsite issues and help implement appropriate solutions. Qualifications Three to five years of commercial landscaping, landscape installation, construction, or related outdoor labor experience preferred. Previous crew leadership, lead worker, or supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of landscape installation practices, irrigation systems, grading, sod, and plant materials. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to motivate and lead a crew in a productive and professional manner. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to follow project plans, instructions, and safety requirements. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, kneel, stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive physical movements throughout the workday. Schedule and Availability Full-time, 1st-shift position. Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed. Start and finish times may vary depending on project needs and weather conditions. Preferred Qualities Dependable, punctual, and motivated.
