Crew LeadPosition Summary Transformed Landscaping Co. is seeking an experienced, hands-on Crew Lead to lead landscape construction projects from start to finish. The Crew Lead is responsible for directing and working alongside a landscape construction crew while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to our quality standards. This is a blended leadership and field position—you will manage people, coordinate day-to-day jobsite operations, communicate with clients and project managers, and actively participate in the installation work. The ideal candidate has strong landscape construction experience, can read and execute landscape plans, operates equipment confidently, communicates well with both clients and crew members, and requires minimal supervision from the Project Manager. Crew Leads may supervise teams ranging from approximately 2-8 employees depending on the size and scope of the project. About Transformed Landscaping Co. Inspirational Aligned Transparent Accountable Disciplined Results-Oriented Key Responsibilities The Crew Lead will: Develop a daily work plan and review priorities with the crew each morning. Lead, supervise, and work alongside crew members to complete residential landscape construction projects. Delegate responsibilities effectively to maximize jobsite productivity. Coordinate daily workflow, labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Monitor project schedules, productivity, and budgets. Maintain accurate material, labor, and jobsite records. Communicate consistently and professionally with clients, Project Managers, crew members, subcontractors, and other project partners. Ensure construction follows approved plans, specifications, and company quality standards. Identify field conditions that may require adjustments and communicate recommended solutions to the Project Manager. Respond appropriately to client requests, material availability, site conditions, and project changes. Train and develop crew members through hands-on instruction and leadership by example. Provide constructive feedback and accountability when performance issues arise. Maintain a safe, organized, and professional jobsite. Perform landscape construction and hardscape installation. Perform planting, transplanting, soil preparation, grading, demolition, and general site preparation. Assist with irrigation layout and installation. Operate company equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, mini skid steers, tracked loaders, chop saws, and other landscape construction tools. Conduct project walkthroughs and provide clients with appropriate care and maintenance information upon completion. Assist with interviewing, training, and developing crew members as needed. Complete required jobsite paperwork and administrative responsibilities. Perform other duties reasonably associated with landscape construction and crew leadership. Qualifications & Key Competencies Successful candidates should possess: Strong leadership and crew-management skills. Excellent communication skills with clients, coworkers, subcontractors, and management. The ability to read, understand, and execute landscape construction plans and specifications. The ability to lay out a landscape project and manage installation from start to finish. Strong organizational and time-management skills. The ability to delegate responsibilities and maintain crew productivity. A working knowledge of landscape construction methods, planting, grading, irrigation, hardscape installation, and site preparation. The ability to accurately complete jobsite documentation and company paperwork. A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. A professional appearance and demeanor. Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A commitment to safety and responsible equipment operation. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. Education & Experience Minimum 3 years of experience leading a landscape construction or related construction crew . Strong working knowledge of landscape construction processes and jobsite operations. Experience reading landscape plans and managing projects from layout through final completion. Experience installing and/or overseeing irrigation systems. Experience communicating directly with clients regarding field conditions and project changes. Experience operating landscape and construction equipment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate company vehicles and trailers as required. Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding outdoor position.

Candidates must be able to:

Work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Perform repetitive bending, lifting, twisting, digging, and carrying. Safely lift and move materials weighing up to approximately 80 pounds. Remain active and productive throughout a full construction workday.
