40-60 hours per week Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL A Transportation Supervisor . This supervisory role combines driver oversight, warehouse coordination, and customer service responsibilities to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant execution of all transportation activities. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates effectively, and is comfortable leading others while working independently in a fast-paced environment. Essential Responsibilities Driver Supervision & Safety Supervise drivers throughout the night to ensure all company and DOT safety protocols are being followed. Monitor driver compliance with company policies and procedures. Provide guidance and support to drivers regarding operational issues, route concerns, and emergency situations. Escalate safety concerns or incidents to management as necessary. Maintain accurate records of driver communications and overnight activities. Customer Service & Communication Answer incoming calls from drivers and customers professionally and promptly. Provide shipment updates and operational information to customers. Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to resolve issues and ensure service expectations are met. Communicate effectively with internal teams to support smooth overnight operations. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A License required. Previous transportation, dispatch, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred. Supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently during overnight hours. Basic computer and phone proficiency.
