Ticket Sales and Group Activation Intern Summer 2027 | Full-Time Paid Internship | Lake Country DockHounds Baseball The Lake Country DockHounds, proud members of the American Association of Professional Baseball, are seeking a Ticket Sales and Group Activation Intern for the 2027 season at DockHounds Ballpark in Oconomowoc, WI. This internship provides hands-on experience in ticket sales, group outings, customer service, and fan engagement within a professional sports organization. You'll be involved in the full group sales process—from prospecting and selling tickets to helping coordinate the game-day experience for groups. You'll also gain valuable experience working in the box office, managing accounts, and supporting fans throughout the season. Duties & Responsibilities Assist with the full sales process for group ticket sales , including prospecting, outreach, follow-up, and closing sales. Maintain and operate the Box Office during home games and special events. Operate the ticketing system ( Tickets.com ) for ticket sales, account management, and customer support. Build and maintain professional relationships with corporate groups, organizations, fans, and ticket holders. Provide a high level of customer service to all accounts and assist with questions or ticketing needs. Assist with group activation and game-day experiences , helping ensure groups have a positive and memorable experience at DockHounds games. Assist with cash management and ticketing responsibilities on game days. Maintain accurate records of prospecting activity, follow-ups, and closed sales. Manage and coordinate ticket sales for stadium entertainment events, including concerts, festivals, and other special events. Assist with group check-in and other group-related responsibilities on game days. Assist other departments with ticketing, sales, and event-related tasks as needed.

Internship Details Schedule:

Mid-April-Mid-September 2027, including office hours, 50 home games, and community events such as concerts and festivals.

Compensation:

Up to $3,000 for the summer, plus the opportunity to earn commission.

Location:

DockHounds Ballpark, Oconomowoc, WI.

Focus:

Gain hands-on experience in professional sports ticket sales, group sales, box office operations, customer service, and event activation.
