Shipping Supervisor Automation Personnel is seeking a skilled Shipping Supervisor for Piggly Wiggly Warehouse in Birmingham, Alabama. The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily shipping operations, ensuring orders are accurately and efficiently prepared, loaded, and dispatched on schedule. This position leads and supports the shipping team while maintaining high standards for safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, customer service, and food-quality requirements.

Pay Rate:

62-65k Salary increases after 90 days! Schedule and Hours Sunday through Friday 2PM-Until Completed Shipping Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities Supervise daily shipping activities and shipping personnel. Coordinate the accurate and timely loading and dispatch of customer orders. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Monitor department productivity and identify opportunities for improvement. Communicate operational issues and daily performance to management. Assist with staffing, scheduling, and coverage as needed. Lead by example and promote a positive, accountable team environment Shipping Supervisor Qualifications Familiarity with inventory control and shipping procedures. Experience working with perishable or temperature-sensitive products. Ability to regularly lift, move, and handle products and materials. Ability to work in warehouse and refrigerated/cooler environments when required. Ability to safely operate or work around warehouse equipment in accordance with company procedures. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of grocery, warehouse, distribution, or management experience and demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced operating environment.
