Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Additional education in logistics, supply chain, or operations management is a plus Ability to perform basic math calculations and complete warehouse documentation Experience Requirements Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience required Experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or food distribution environments preferred Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory management Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) Proven leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills Strong computer skills including data entry, spreadsheets, and reporting Ability to communicate effectively with hourly employees and management Job Duties Oversee daily warehouse operations during 2nd shift Supervise, train, coach, and support warehouse associates Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and OSHA regulations Monitor shipping activities and verify load accuracy Utilize warehouse management systems to track operations and inventory Escalate operational issues and recommend solutions Conduct inventory control activities and assist with physical inventories Review wave sheets, work orders, and production requirements Promote workplace safety and report accidents immediately Investigate inventory discrepancies and help prevent product loss Maintain shift communication and ensure smooth operational transitions Perform other warehouse leadership duties as assigned Physical Capabilities Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout warehouse operations for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work in active warehouse environments with forklifts, conveyors, and material handling equipment. Ability to inspect warehouse operations and respond to operational needs throughout the facility.
