Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Step into a fast-paced surgical environment where your expertise as a Surgical Technologist or Operating Room Technician will make a real impact on patient care. In this pivotal contract role, you'll provide essential technical support to the surgical team, ensuring procedures run smoothly and safely.
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist (Certified or Non-Certified) or Operating Room Technician required Strong understanding of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation Knowledge of surgical procedures and ability to anticipate surgeon's needs Ability to work harmoniously and efficiently in a high-stress environment Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and available Assist surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments and supplies Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout surgery Count instruments and sponges pre- and post-procedure to maintain accurate records Support patient positioning and the application of sterile dressings Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia providers to optimize patient outcomes This contract position offers the opportunity to work alongside skilled surgical professionals and gain valuable experience in a dynamic setting.
