Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Supervisor and Forklift Operator, where you'll lead daily warehouse operations with energy and precision. Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move goods throughout the warehouse. Manage inventory control systems Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations, reduce waste, and increase productivity through lean management principles. Enforce OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting, mechanical knowledge, and materials handling to maintain a safe work environment. Provide team leadership by managing staff schedules, conducting training on warehouse procedures, and fostering a collaborative team atmosphere. Oversee shipping & receiving operations, ensuring timely dispatches and proper documentation in compliance with company policies. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes related to warehouse activities. Support warehouse management system updates and inventory audits to maintain high accuracy levels across all stock records. Experience Proven experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or supply chain environments with a focus on process improvement. Demonstrated forklift operation skills with valid certification; mechanical knowledge is a plus. Prior supervisory or managerial experience in a warehouse setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, materials handling equipment operation, and heavy lifting procedures. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety standards. Excellent team management skills coupled with effective managerial communication abilities.
