Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Casa Grande Supervisor takes full control of daily operations, providing strong, hands-on leadership to the team. This role is responsible for the unloading of railcars and boxcars, meeting a minimum of four (4) unloads per day, and ensuring every load is completed within the two-hour standard. The Supervisor tracks the status of each stage of the operation, keeps direct contact with planners, and communicates with sales representatives regarding material loading and staging status. This position is also accountable for attendance, daily load goals, correct material identification, and damage prevention.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Control & Leadership
- Maintains full control of the daily operation, directing the team with clear priorities and strong leadership
- Oversees attendance, holding the team accountable for schedule adherence and productivity
- Drives the team to meet daily load goals, adjusting priorities as needed to stay on target Railcar & Boxcar Unloading
- Directs the daily unloading of railcars and boxcars, ensuring a minimum of 4 unloads are completed each day
- Ensures every load is completed within the 2-hour mark, monitoring progress and addressing delays immediately
- Ensures all material is correctly identified upon unloading and staged according to plan
- Enforces proper handling procedures to avoid damage to material and equipment Stage Tracking & Communication
- Keeps close control of the stages completed throughout the operation, from unload through staging
- Maintains direct contact with planners to align on priorities, schedule changes, and load status
- Responds to sales representative emails regarding material loading and staging status in a timely, accurate manner People Leadership & Safety
- Leads, assigns, and monitors crew productivity while maintaining a culture of safety and accountability
- Participates in daily safety walkthroughs and documents incidents or equipment damage accurately

- Pay Details:
- $22.
