Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Supervisor to join our team. The Shipping Supervisor will oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving operations. Duties

• Supervise and lead a team of shipping associates
• Ensure all outgoing shipments are accurate and on time
• Coordinate with carriers for efficient freight movement
• Implement and maintain warehouse safety protocols, including OSHA standards
• Utilize warehouse management systems such as AS400 for inventory control
• Monitor and improve shipping processes to enhance efficiency
• Collaborate with other departments, such as E-commerce and Logistics, to optimize operations
• Oversee the use of forklifts for loading and unloading shipments

Qualifications:

High School Education Valid Driver's License Excellent problem solving, organizational, time management and analytical skills. Exceptional communication abilities Strong computer proficiency. Previous working experience in a Warehouse as a Shipping Lead is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Must be self-motivated and be able to perform duties in an independent manner with minimal supervision. Detail oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Maintain a positive attitude.

• Need to have 2-3 years of experience as Shipping team lead.
• Shipping leads are responsible for

MANAGING ENTIRE SHIPPING

OPERATIONS, overseeing shipping operations, and ensuring accurate shipment documentation.

• Shipping leads need to have excellent communication skills to ensure the shipping and receiving process runs smoothly and that the company and its customers are satisfied
• Shipping leads need to be able to keep track of incoming and outgoing shipments and organize the information so that it is easy to find and use
• Line leaders, including shipping leads, need to be able to quickly assess problems that may arise during a shift and come up with a solution
