Position:
Warehouse Coordinator About the Position Western States Flooring is looking for a dependable, organized, and hardworking Warehouse Coordinator to handle the day-to-day operation of our flooring warehouse. This is a hands-on position with a mix of warehouse, inventory, facility maintenance, and administrative responsibilities. You'll be responsible for receiving flooring materials, keeping inventory organized and accurately documented, maintaining a clean and orderly facility, and communicating with our corporate scheduling team to help ensure materials are ready when our installation crews need them. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their workspace. If something needs to be cleaned, organized, received, moved, documented, or handled, we want someone who sees it and gets it done. What You'll Do Receive weekly carpet deliveries, including unloading trucks and verifying incoming material Tag carpet and accurately receive material into our computer system Receive pad deliveries approximately every 3-4 weeks Organize and maintain carpet, pad, and other flooring materials in the warehouse Prepare and organize materials for installer pickup Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records Communicate regularly with our corporate scheduling team regarding material, orders, and upcoming installations Identify missing, damaged, or incorrect material and communicate issues promptly Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized Clean and maintain the facility, including warehouse areas, offices, common areas, and bathrooms Break down boxes, dispose of trash, sweep, clean, and perform other routine facility upkeep Perform basic computer and administrative tasks related to warehouse operations Assist installers and other team members as needed Help maintain a safe and efficient working environment What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Is dependable and has strong, consistent attendance Takes pride in keeping their workplace clean and organized Is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of their responsibilities Is physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 90 pounds Can safely operate a forklift or is willing and able to learn Has basic computer skills and is comfortable learning our systems Pays attention to detail when receiving, tagging, and documenting material Can communicate effectively with team members in other locations Can prioritize responsibilities and manage their day without constant supervision Is a team player who contributes to a positive work environment Recognizes problems and works toward solutions rather than waiting for someone else to handle them What to Expect This is an active, hands-on position. You will spend much of the day on your feet and will regularly move, lift, organize, and handle flooring materials. Our carpet and pad deliveries are an important part of the position. Receiving material accurately is just as important as unloading it. You'll need to make sure products are properly tagged, entered into the system, organized, and ready for upcoming installations. Maintaining the facility is also a regular responsibility of this position. We expect our warehouse, offices, bathrooms, and common areas to be kept clean and professional. This isn't a position where cleaning is someone else's job—taking pride in the entire facility is part of being the Warehouse Coordinator. There are also administrative responsibilities, so the right person needs to be comfortable moving between physical warehouse work and computer-based tasks throughout the day. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 90 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including a forklift Ability to work in a warehouse environment and perform routine cleaning and facility-maintenance tasks Experience Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, flooring, construction, inventory, or forklift experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. Basic computer skills are required. More importantly, we're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, willing to learn, and takes ownership of their work.Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
