Position Summary Kole Imports & Closeouts is seeking an experienced Receiving Lead to oversee daily receiving operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have previous receiving leadership experience, strong forklift operating skills, and the ability to coordinate a team while ensuring timely and accurate processing of inbound shipments. The Receiving Lead will support the Receiving Manager, monitor workflow, help maintain inventory accuracy, and promote a safe and organized work area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and support receiving team members in daily operations. Unload and inspect inbound shipments using forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Verify product quantities and condition against receiving documentation. Ensure inventory is received and located accurately within the warehouse. Monitor productivity and assist with workload distribution. Investigate and help resolve receiving discrepancies. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Train and mentor receiving associates on procedures and best practices. Communicate effectively with inventory control, shipping, purchasing, and warehouse management. Assist with cycle counts, location audits, and inventory accuracy initiatives. Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures. Qualifications Previous experience as a Receiving Lead, Warehouse Lead, or similar leadership role is required. At least 2 years of receiving experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Forklift certification or recent forklift operating experience is required. Experience receiving full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management systems are preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
