SHIPPING COORDINATOR SUMMARY
Responsible for performing shipping and receiving duties and processing related paperwork. Will work to maintain an organized system for inbound and outbound orders and shipments. Will assist in various administrative tasks as well.Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager and staff in both the CA and HI offices in the planning and coordination of project requirements.
- Order materials, issue purchase orders, manage order deadlines.
- Generate packing lists, bill of ladings & other shipping paperwork.
- Pack materials for shipping LTL, USPS, FedEx, etc.
- Schedule pickups and deliveries for truck, boat and air shipments.
- Check quality and accuracy of incoming material.
- Manage job files and shipping paperwork.
- Maintain a record of work orders.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and vendors.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
- Computer skills and use of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs is required.
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Excellent time management.
- Experience working on multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong organization, self-management and people skills.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Teamwork and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of construction and architecture industries a plus.
Regular Hours:
Monday- Friday 7:30am
- 4:00pm
Compensation:

We are looking for an organized and versatile person to assist us with our growing company, at an entry level position. We are Hawaii's leading architectural metal manufacturer and subcontractor. Our company has been involved with most of the major construction projects throughout the State of Hawaii over the past 50 years.
