Supervisor Plans, organizes and supervises day-to-day operations, ensuring that daily production schedule is followed and met.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that operators are running to the dispatch list
• Provide interpretation and direction for department standards, customer standards and specifications, and internal standards and procedures
• Schedule and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely deliveries
• Ensure accurate shipments and inventory transactions
• Preparing and maintaining all necessary shipping documents, such as bill of lading and custom forms
• Ensure that all documentation (QAR's, job travelers, MRB tags, etc) are filled out properly and completely at end of shift
• Hold employees accountable for safety, quality and production quotas
• Make conscience efforts to prevent injuries and dangerous situations; report and document any accidents or near misses to the safety officer

Job:

• Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day
• Able to frequently walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and lift for 8-12 hours per day
• Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment
• Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands
• Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs
