INTRODUCTION
The Production Coordinator supports the Production Manager in daily operations by ensuring orders are processed accurately, communication flows efficiently, and inventory is properly tracked. This role provides support both in the office and in the warehouse. It is essential in keeping production on schedule and maintaining strong coordination between departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
Order Management Pull and process production orders accurately and on time Review work orders for completeness and coordination with internal teams as needed Track order status and follow up to ensure timely completion Coordinate the movement of orders to the production line Communication & Coordination Communicate with internal departments including sales, engineering, and warehouse Respond to emails and internal inquiries related to production status Assist in resolving order or production issues quickly and effectively Inventory Support and Warehouse Perform inventory counts, including outdoor inventory as required Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the Production Manager Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure material availability Assist with inventory tracking and updates in internal systems Support general warehouse operations as needed Administrative Support Maintain accurate production records and documentation Enter and update data in ERP or internal systems Support scheduling and coordination of production activities Team Support Assist the Production Manager with daily operational needs Help prioritize tasks and ensure workflow efficiency Contribute to process improvements and organization
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
High School Diploma or GED required 1-3 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or operations support preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Experience with ERP systems (Sage, NetSuite, SAP, etc.) preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadline. Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred. Further Qualifications - The successful candidate must pass a background check. Equal Employment Opportunity
