This counseling center provides comprehensive mental health services to students, faculty, staff, and members of the surrounding community through individual therapy, group therapy, consultation, and outreach. The center also serves as a significant clinical training site for master's- and doctoral-level psychology trainees, integrating high-quality clinical care with excellence in professional formation. The next Executive Director will be a highly relational, clinically credible leader who combines active clinical experience and supervision expertise with a deep commitment to student development and professional training. This individual will provide strategic, clinical, and administrative leadership for a thriving counseling center while fostering a culture of clinical excellence, collaborative leadership, and Christ-centered care. Qualifications The successful candidate will bring: PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program. Licensed (or license-eligible) as a psychologist in California. Significant post-licensure clinical experience, including psychotherapy, assessment, consultation, and crisis response. Demonstrated leadership experience in a university counseling center, training clinic, mental health program, or comparable clinical setting. Experience supervising graduate trainees, psychology interns, and/or early-career clinicians. Strong understanding of doctoral-level clinical training, ethical practice, risk management, and clinical operations. Proven ability to lead teams, develop staff, manage programs, and build collaborative partnerships across diverse stakeholders. Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic leadership skills. An appreciation for psychodynamic, relational, and integrative approaches to clinical care while valuing evidence-based practice. A demonstrated commitment to integrating Christian faith, psychology, and professional practice within a Christian higher education environment.
