Role Description:
Security Supervisor ( UNARMED ) is responsible for overseeing and managing residential (RST) and executive protection (EP) operations for a high-profile client, supervising security personnel, and ensuring the client's safety, privacy, and continuity of daily life through proactive threat mitigation and coordinated protective services.DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE A VALID GUARD CARD OR PRIOR SUPERVISOR EXPERIENCE.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for the security team, maintaining clear communication and discretion. Manage the daily activities of assigned security officers and guards to ensure consistent, professional, and effective coverage. Conduct residential security assessments, vulnerability evaluations, and routine inspections of properties. Establish and enforce access control procedures, including guest screening, household staff coordination, and vendor management. Plan and coordinate protective operations for daily movements, public appearances, events, and travel. Conduct advance work, site surveys, and threat assessments for locations, venues, and routes. Coordinate secure transportation, route planning, and movement logistics for domestic and international travel. Develop, implement, and update Standard Operating Procedures and Emergency Response Plans as threats, public exposure, or routines evolve. Ensure all Safehouse Policies, SOPs, Emergency Response Plans, and Confidentiality Standards are adhered to at all times. Train, mentor, and brief security personnel to maintain readiness and alignment with client needs. Monitor team conduct, appearance, and professionalism against Safehouse policy. Enforce security policies and procedures, including addressing attire and conduct. Oversee the operation of surveillance systems (cameras, alarms) and review footage as needed. Respond to and manage incidents, emergencies, and crisis situations, providing leadership and decisive action. Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and post-operation debriefs; review and address reports from every shift. Manage work email and respond in a timely manner. Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and external security partners as needed. Ensure security equipment, vehicles, and communication systems are operational and properly maintained. Keep the security post clean and up to date; communicate with the property management team on items needing attention. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information, locations, and personal activities.Required Qualifications:
Valid California Guard Card. Ensures all required licenses and trainings remain current for yourself and the team. First Aid / CPR / AED Certification. Valid CA Driver License. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security or law enforcement highly preferred. Prior experience supervising or managing security officers/guards. Experience in close protection, residential security assessments, and risk assessment in high-stakes environments. Skilled in surveillance, situational awareness, attention to detail, and threat analysis. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and coordination skills. Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, adapt to dynamic situations, and remain calm under pressure. Physical fitness and ability to respond quickly to situations. Proficiency in detailed documentation and report writing. Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Stellar customer service skills; ability to interact professionally with clients, staff, and the public. Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality to all shifts. Must agree to a background check. Must agree to a drug test.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures is a Plus. Experience coordinating advance work, site surveys, and threat assessments is a Plus. Prior experience in executive protection for high-profile or celebrity clients is a Plus. Pay is based on Experience, Tenure and Performance. Ranges from 30-35$.
