In this role, you will help ensure customer orders are processed accurately, safely, and on time while supporting and guiding the shipping team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, communicates well with others, and takes pride in keeping shipments organized and accurate. What You'll Do Lead and support the daily activities of the shipping team. Assign daily tasks and work schedules based on order volume, priorities, and deadlines. Ensure customer orders are picked, prepared, and shipped accurately and on schedule. Review and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, delivery orders, shipping labels, and proof of delivery records. Coordinate pickups and deliveries with freight carriers, parcel carriers, third-party warehouses, and internal teams. Monitor shipment status and communicate delays, shortages, damages, or delivery issues to the appropriate departments. Coordinate appliance shipments, customer deliveries, transfers, returns, replacements, and damaged-product claims. Research and resolve shipping errors, missing products, incorrect shipments, and freight damage. Keep shipping records accurate and ensure documents are properly filed and uploaded into the company's Odoo system . Work closely with Customer Service, Sales, Inventory, Warehouse, and Accounting to resolve shipment-related issues. Prepare daily and weekly shipping reports, productivity records, and shipment summaries. Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient shipping environment. Perform other job-related duties as needed. What We're Looking For 1-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, distribution, or a related field. Previous experience as a team lead or supervisor in a shipping or warehouse environment is preferred. Experience working with freight carriers, parcel carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses. Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to shipping accuracy. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with employees, carriers, customers, and internal departments. High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is a plus.
