The Receiving Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily activities for Customer DOF receiving functions of all incoming products for Customer's suppliers, managing all aspects of receiving and transferring 31k items per week or 6.2k items a day, verifying and recording information related to incoming receipts, and providing leadership to receiving personnel.Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to, activities related to the receiving of materials or finished goods while ensuring all system transactions in Customer's (Net suite) and Sanmina's (Oracle) ERPs are properly executed. Ensures materials been received are packaged according to specification. Ensures the goods been received are in conformance with Customer's receiving process identifying and flagging discrepancies for resolution. Drive the resolution of Receiving Non conformances from the different stakeholders within 48 hours Deals with carriers to make sure materials delivery are adequately scheduled and that the materials handling meets customer requirements. Ensures the security, accuracy, and accountability of materials been received with inventory control. Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures. Maintains documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Oversees the staff in physical or administrative tasks involved in the receiving process. Works with the personnel under him to make sure facility policies including quality, safety, conduct and attendance. Assure process is within required controlsEducation and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree preferred. Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience managing processes and people on any of the key warehouse flow functions, materials handling, receiving, MRB, stockroom, inventory control, shipping. Must be proficient with ERP (Oracle, Net suite or SAP), Microsoft Office, desirably with Google Suite Minimum 5 years of supervisor experience. Crating and overpacking experience preferred. FedEx, UPS, International shipments, and commercial invoices experience preferred Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Must be a team player and capable of interacting with multiple groups both internal and external customers. Must be flexible with schedule changes and work extended hours when required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
