This is a hands-on leadership position—not an entry-level packing role. Applicants must have previous experience leading or supervising warehouse operations. Candidates without warehouse lead, trainer, or supervisory experience will not be considered. The person selected for this position will help maintain accurate inventory, organize daily workflow, support order fulfillment, operate a forklift when necessary, and coordinate incoming domestic and international shipments. Experience using Amazon Seller Central is required. Direct experience creating and preparing Fulfilled by Amazon shipments is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, or comparable e-commerce and order-management systems is also required. Primary Responsibilities Help coordinate daily receiving, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and fulfillment activities. Provide direction and workflow support to warehouse team members. Process and monitor orders through Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, and related systems. Prepare Amazon FBA inventory, including labels, cartons, pallets, product quantities, and shipment documentation. Review order information, SKUs, quantities, shipping methods, and customer details before orders leave the warehouse. Maintain organized and accurate inventory locations. Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies. Receive products and compare quantities against purchase orders, packing slips, freight documents, and internal records. Track inbound inventory and help coordinate freight deliveries, pallets, containers, and other large shipments. Communicate receiving delays, shortages, damaged merchandise, incorrect products, and inventory concerns to management. Participate in weekly virtual operations meetings. Organize merchandise by SKU, size, material, style, color, product type, and assigned storage location. Safely operate a forklift and assist with staging or moving pallets. Identify products that are damaged, mislabeled, misplaced, overstocked, or running low. Help improve warehouse labeling, product placement, inventory flow, and packing procedures. Maintain clean and safe receiving, storage, fulfillment, and packing areas. Required Qualifications Previous warehouse lead, warehouse trainer, shift lead, or supervisory experience. Experience with warehouse inventory control, fulfillment, shipping, and receiving. Working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central. Experience using Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, or a comparable e-commerce or order-management platform. Current forklift certification. Experience performing cycle counts and reconciling inventory differences. Familiarity with SKUs, product variants, storage locations, purchase orders, and physical inventory counts. Ability to review orders and shipment information accurately. Comfortable working with inventory systems, shipping software, spreadsheets, and standard computer applications. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize assignments and maintain an efficient daily workflow. Clear communication skills when working with management, coworkers, carriers, freight providers, and vendors. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more safely. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience creating Amazon FBA shipments. Experience preparing FBA cartons, labels, pallets, and shipment plans. Amazon Seller Central inventory-management experience. Shopify order-processing and fulfillment experience. Walmart Marketplace experience. Experience coordinating imported inventory, overseas purchasing, freight, or container deliveries. Experience receiving container shipments or scheduling large freight deliveries. Experience improving warehouse layouts, labeling systems, or inventory procedures. Experience with bedding, textiles, apparel, soft goods, or products with multiple size and material variations. Work Environment This is a full-time, on-site position at our Santa Ana, California warehouse. Organic Textiles carries bedding, pillows, mattress toppers, robes, cushions, and other home-textile products. Many items may look similar while having different sizes, materials, firmness levels, fills, or cover options. Careful product identification and inventory accuracy are essential in this position. The role involves regular warehouse activity, including inventory counting, order review, forklift operation, receiving, product organization, FBA preparation, and moving warehouse materials.
