Job Description

Warehouse Supervisor Join Our Team We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Cold Storage, department Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations and support a fast-paced distribution team. This position is ideal for a dependable leader who values safety, teamwork, organization, and operational excellence. The Supervisor will oversee warehouse associates, coordinate inbound and outbound activity, and ensure productivity, quality, and safety goals are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support cross-dock and warehouse associates. Schedule employees to maintain proper coverage across all departments. Lead daily start-up meetings covering workload, expectations, and safety topics. Review inbound volume, priority shipments, carryover work, call-offs, and overtime needs before each shift. Coordinate the timely receiving, staging, and shipping of products. Communicate shipment status and potential delays to transportation teams. Coordinate trailer movement for outbound loading. Maintain clean, organized, and safe docks, aisles, offices, break areas, and common spaces. Ensure employees follow all safety policies and complete required training. Monitor productivity, accuracy, quality, fill rates, and on-time shipment goals. Work with Inventory Control to resolve inventory concerns. Research shipping errors and assist management with customer concerns. Review and approve employee timecards for payroll. Coach employees, complete performance evaluations, and address performance concerns when necessary. Develop lead associates and team members to support their professional growth. Assist with controlling warehouse costs, product damage, and workplace injuries. Help implement new policies, procedures, and operational improvements. Complete additional duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center. Experience with cross-dock, receiving, shipping, or wholesale distribution operations preferred. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of warehouse management systems and basic computer programs. Ability to manage priorities, make decisions, and take initiative. Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and customer service. Availability to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs. Why Join Us? $60,000.00 per year
