JOB DESCRIPTION

As 3rd Shift Warehouse Supervisor, the job is responsible for performing and supervising material handler in metals processing and distribution work. Work includes specialized equipment operation and/or supporting functions in loading trucks.

Hours:

Sunday through

Thursday:

11:00pm to 7:30am schedule.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Provides direct supervision and guidance to 3rd shift team. Provides disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation. Assure compliance with company policies and regulations. Assist with loading of trucks for material delivery Assure work order related documents are completed correctly and on time. Exercise sound judgment and leadership for quality decisions. Utilize effective judgment in notification of serious matters related to safety, personnel or operational emergencies. Knowledge & Skills Ability to read, interpret and evaluate procedures and specifications. Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with a strong work ethic. Self-Motivated & Dependable. Basic arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals and fractions required. Excellent communication skills Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Experience and Skills:

Minimum Qualifications 2 to 4 years' Supervisory experience High School diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred. Forklift operations desirable & working in a warehouse environment
