Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations. In this vital role, you will oversee daily distribution center activities, manage inventory control, and ensure smooth logistics processes. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize material handling, and foster a safe, efficient environment. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure timely and accurate operations. Lead and motivate a warehouse staff of 3-6 people Knowledge and prior experience with UPS Worldship software for small package shipping as well as bill of lading processing for pallet shipping with LTL carriers Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and promote a culture of safety across all warehouse operations. Maintain and review weekly and monthly order status reports generated for the warehouse. Communicate the results with Management team to improve efficiency and troubleshoot problem areas Responsible for material placement into warehouse racking and replenishment of bin locations with materials as necessary Responsible for opening / closing procedures and responding to building alarm issues when necessary Maintain an orderly warehouse environment by cleaning, picking up debris, administering trash removal and sweeping the warehouse floor on a consistent basis Requirements Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role with strong leadership skills. Proficiency in general computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and order pickers and pallet jacks and hand trucks; certification preferred Solid managerial communication skills to effectively lead teams, manage conflicts, and coordinate tasks across shifts. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 lbs and standing / walking for extended periods of time Knowledge of OSHA regulations, materials handling best practices, and distribution center operations. Should possess a strong customer service attitude both to internal co-workers as well as external customers
