Warehouse Shipping Supervisor

Key Responsibilities Supervision & Leadership:

Manage shipping personnel, including training, scheduling, performance management, and maintaining safe work practices (e.g., forklift operation).

Shipping Operations:

Oversee picking, packing, and labeling of products, ensuring accurate documentation (bill of lading) and proper loading of trucks.

Logistics & Carrier Management:

Coordinate with freight carriers for pick-ups, schedule shipments to meet deadlines, and resolve shipping discrepancies or damage claims.

Inventory & Quality Control:

Perform cycle counts, ensure inventory records are accurate, and verify that products meet customer specifications before shipment.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement improvements to workflow efficiency, such as updating standard operating procedures

Required Qualifications Experience:

2-5+ years of shipping/receiving experience, typically with 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of ERP/warehouse management systems (WMS), proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills.

Certification:

Forklift license/certification.

Pay:

$23.00 - $24.50 per hour
