Position Overview We are seeking a strong, dependable Program Manager / Group Home Supervisor to oversee daily operations of 3 residential DCF licensed group homes
- s erving at-risk teens. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for staff supervision, youth programming, and ensuring a safe, structured, and compliant environment. Key Responsibilities Program Operations
- Oversee daily operations of the group home
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inspection-ready environment at all times
- Ensure compliance with DCF regulations and internal policies Staff Management
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage
- Supervise, coach, and support direct care staff
- Conduct staff meetings and ensure required trainings are completed Youth Programming
- Develop and implement structured daily schedules for youth
- Coordinate recreational activities and life skills programming
- Maintain consistency in routines, expectations, and behavior management Education Coordination
- Ensure youth are enrolled in and attending school regularly
- Coordinate transportation and school-related needs
- Monitor academic progress and support educational goals Nutrition & Household Management
- Develop weekly menus and ensure proper meal preparation
- Monitor food inventory and household supplies Clinical Coordination
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and external providers
- Ensure youth attend medical, psychiatric, and therapy appointments
- Participate in staffings and treatment planning meetings Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure completion of daily logs, incident reports, and required documentation
- Maintain records in accordance with DCF and Medicaid standards
- Prepare for licensing inspections and audits Safety & Crisis Management
- Respond to and manage crisis situations appropriately
- Ensure staff follow de-escalation and safety protocols
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 2+ years experience working with at-risk youth or residential care
- Supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of DCF or child welfare systems is a plus
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Schedule
