Position Overview:

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for ensuring the effective execution of all warehouse operations by supervising and directing team members to meet the objectives set forth by management.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide direct supervision of warehouse floor activities, including stocking, order selecting, material handling, and dock unloading tasks. Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety. Train new and existing employees in collaboration with the Building Manager. Identify and report personnel or process issues to the Building Manager and contribute to resolution efforts. Interpret and utilize Vendor Stock Sheets, Stock Order Sheets, and Pull Tickets effectively. Maintain organized pallet flow for stock and orders in designated locations. Accountable for Inventory accuracy by ensuring adherence to data entry, stocking, and picking practices. Coordinate with Warehouse Managers, Clerks, and Forklift Drivers to facilitate product movement as necessary. Adhere to policies and procedures established by management. Communicate goals and tasks clearly to team members. Monitor employee performance and development. Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills.

Requirements:

Ability to work in warehouse conditions, including exposure to high heat and cold temperatures. Capacity to lift an average of 40 lbs. repetitively. Proficiency in email and other communication tools. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. High school diploma (preferred). Effective verbal and written communication skills. Compliance with all safety requirements. Experience operating an electric pallet jack, forklift, and stock picker.

Other Skills/Abilities:

Comprehensive understanding of warehouse safety standards. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to understand and implement complex warehousing strategies. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Physical Demands:

Requires prolonged standing, bending, and lifting in a warehouse environment.
