Where "Working Hard" Meets "Working Smart." We are looking for a high-energy Distribution Center Supervisor to lead our 1st shift operations (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM). We need someone who understands that true efficiency comes from working smart, but who isn't afraid to work hard alongside their crew to get the job done. This position is key to our management team, balancing employee relations, performance, and accountabilty with our rigorous standards for excellence. The Mission As the 1st Shift Supervisor, you are responsible for leading a team to deliver quality and accuracy in loading and unloading event inventory. You will lead the charge in maximizing efficiency, ensuring on-time preparation for daily orders, and maintaining a standard of excellence.
Your Day-to-Day Impact Strategic Leadership:
Work closely with management to uphold rigorous quality standards while navigating the complexities of employee relations and team morale. Lead from the
Front:
Supervise and work alongside your team to load/offload trucks with precision.
Execution Excellence:
Turn sales orders into reality, handling last-minute changes and "event-day" pivots with ease.
Quality Control:
Oversee the full return cycle—cleaning, restocking, and repairing inventory so it's always "show-ready."
Team Development:
Mentor warehouse associates, monitor performance, and foster a culture of safety and urgency. What You Bring to the
Table Leadership Grit:
2+ years of warehouse/delivery supervisory experience. You know how to resolve conflict and build a cohesive team.
Precision & Speed:
A "sense of urgency" is your default setting. You can multi-task without losing sight of the details.
Communication:
Clear, professional, and proactive—whether talking to sales, field ops, or your own crew.
Reliability:
You have a valid Driver's License and a clean DMV record. You're ready to pass a DOT physical and background check.
Bonus Points:
Bi-lingual (Spanish), tech-savvy (WMS or Microsoft Office), or experience in the tent/event rental industry.
Position Tasks & Responsibilities:
Supports leadership and provides direction to team members daily. Supervises and participates in loading/offloading the trucks. Follows processes to ensure the correct items are loaded properly for events. Follows and executes communication from the sales staff for details and last-minute changes to jobs or events. Communicate with Field Operations team for any updates or needs they may have. Works with Field Operations management and crew to ensure that all equipment is returned and properly to assigned locations. Supports the efficiency of the return process, including the processing, cleaning, and re-stocking rental items into inventory. Ensure damaged items/inventory get processed and repaired in a timely manner. Assists with assuring that all inventory, machinery, and rental products are maintained in a safe and clean condition. Customer Pickup Fulfillment Monitors warehouse associate's performance and progress. Complies with all government safety requirements and applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Reassures the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse

Assists with coordination of tent and product movement and storage systems. Assists with improving operations. Supervises warehouse associates. Supervisory Responsibilities:
Demonstrates leadership and provides direction to employees daily. Effectively manages the necessary number of labor hours needed for jobs. Participates in and supports training of all warehouse staff on the safe usage of warehouse machinery and equipment. Supervises the accurate loading and unloading of trucks. Follows checklists to ensure all items are completed Supervises the timely completion of all returns of inventory to warehouse.
Emphasizes restocking accuracy Work environment:
Often work in indoor environments that do not have heat or air conditioning, such as a warehouse. May occasionally work outdoors, in weather conditions such as heat, cold, sun or rain. Often wear safety attire when in the warehouse, such as vests, gloves, etc. May work in close proximity to other people, such as when sharing or entering office space. May be exposed to loud or distracting sounds or noise levels. Hours worked/scheduled generally more than 40 hours per week; additional hours may be required or scheduled as needed. Work may be across seven (7) days a week based on event; on-call availability may also be required when events are booked at a moment's notice.
Requirements:
Two years of supervisory experience in distribution or logistics roles. Position will involve driving trucks; must be able to provide a valid Driver's License and a clean DMV record without major infractions (DUI's, suspensions, etc.) Able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug test.
Preferred Experience:
Bi-lingual/ability to speak Spanish. High school diploma or equivalent. Rental software or Warehouse management system knowledge and experience. Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel knowledge and experience. Construction or other outdoor field work experience.
Physical demands:
Often work in indoor environments that do not have heat or air conditioning, such as a warehouse. May occasionally work outdoors, in weather conditions such as heat, cold, sun or rain. Steel toed boots and other saftey equipment required. Must be able to lift approximately 20-40 lbs. consistently; up to 70 lbs. occasionally. Works in close proximity to people, such as in company vehicles/trucks or sharing office space. May be exposed to loud or distracting sounds or noise levels.
Travel required:
Minimal May drive personal and company vehicles (trucks) to job sites on occasion.
