About Us:
We are a leading fragrance contract manufacturer specializing in production and distribution of high-quality fragrance products for global brands. Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Warehouse Receiving Lead, where you will play a pivotal role in managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods within our warehouse. This energetic position offers the opportunity to lead a team dedicated to ensuring efficient receiving operations, maintaining accurate inventory control, and supporting overall warehouse distribution processes. As a key driver of process improvement and safety compliance, you will help create a seamless supply chain experience that keeps operations running smoothly and safely.
Title:
Warehouse Receiving Lead Responsibilities:
  • Lead the operations of the warehouse, including receiving, restocking, transfers, and facility clean-up.
  • Coordinate the inbound receiving schedule.
  • Checks inbound receipts and packing slips.
  • Email customer/broker requesting the packing slip.
  • Email the customer the receiver's receipt for proof of delivery.
  • Attach scans or pictures of shipments for auditing purposes.
  • Utilizes the ERP system (NetSuite) to facilitate product movement and storage.
  • Assist in planning daily tasks to support shift activities and meet schedule requirements.
  • Assists in managing and training staff as needed.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, material availability, and compliance with order picking and QC checking of inbound shipments.
  • Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintains high levels of accuracy in inventory integrity and daily operations.
  • Complies with GMP and company requirements
  • Responsible for investigating any discrepancies in daily receiving.
  • Identifies damaged items and shortages, and communicates with the shipper to rectify issues; reports defective materials and other issues to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Promotes a safe work environment and ensures that all employees in the receiving department follow safety rules and regulations
  • Provides backup support to the shipping and receiving department: picking, packing, etc.
  • May perform other duties as requested by management
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of shipping and receiving lead experience and some supervisory experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Forklift License required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and ERP systems (NetSuite)
  • Time management and leadership skills required
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships with other departments
  • Knowledge of and experience with all shipping functions, foreign and domestic, including domestic air bills, international commercial invoices, and letters of instruction required.
  • Knowledge of picking orders, quality control, inventory control, and receiving inspection
  • Knowledge of dock/truck management, truck appointments
  • Ability to follow and issue verbal and written instructions and to direct the work of others to meet customer needs
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (e.g., 8+ hour shifts).
  • Ability to work in a facility with fluctuating temperatures (if your warehouse is not climate-controlled).
  • Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and reach.

Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
