Parts Distribution Coordinator - John Deere (Milan, IL) This is a stable 1+ year contract opportunity paying up to $20/hr . Operating 100% onsite on 1st shift with flexible start times ( 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM ) in Milan, IL , you will work directly on the warehouse floor measuring physical service parts and logging dimensional data into John Deere's packaging specification application.

Position Details & Compensation Pay Rate:

Up to $20/hr (W2) .

Location:

100% Onsite in Milan, IL (includes occasional local travel to offsite warehouses within 21 miles of the Milan PDC).

Duration:

1+ Years (Providing solid contract stability).

Shift & Hours:

1st Shift (8-hour shift with flexible start times between 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM, Monday - Friday).

Core Responsibilities Part Measurement & Data Logging:

Locate designated parts across warehouse locations using analyst lists, take precise physical dimensions following specific guidelines, and input data into John Deere's packaging spec application.

Shop-Floor Operations:

Drive a Cushman utility cart to navigate high-traffic warehouse aisles and review parts at various work stations.

Offsite Coordination:

Travel occasionally to nearby offsite storage facilities near the Milan Parts Distribution Center (all driving within a 21-mile radius).

Data Review:

Review structured part data sets to support packaging accuracy, part protection, and efficient storage design.

Required Qualifications & Physical Demands Technical Skills:

Basic MS Excel proficiency, general computer literacy, and the ability to interpret and evaluate simple data sets.

Preferred Education:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent work experience ( Recent Graduates are strongly encouraged to apply! ).

Operational Capabilities:

Strong decision-making skills and comfort working in a high-traffic warehouse environment.

Physical Capabilities:

Able to be on your feet standing and walking ~75% of the workday . Able to lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs . Able and willing to drive a Cushman vehicle (small, battery-operated warehouse transport cart). Possess metatarsal safety boots on Day 1.
