JOB DESCRIPTION
It's more than a job As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. At Kuehne+Nagel, your contribution goes far beyond the warehouse—it helps shape the flow of global trade. ‎ You will have general responsibility for coordinating and supervising daily logistics activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. You will work Friday - Sunday, 12:00 AM - 12:30 PM, and will be paid weekly at $23.97 per hour, plus $1.00 shift differential. How you create impact Make recommendations to improve operations and processes Follow GPD (Good Documentation Practice) Operate material handling equipment Lead a team of Warehouse Associates Foster a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel included, valued, and safe Help develop processes to ensure the efficient operation and use of all warehouse equipment Implement processes to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property Oversee the warehouse housekeeping program Ensure current, accurate inventory control and that customer orders are picked and shipped Follow health and safety policies that follow company and OSHA regulations Be available to work overtime and weekends What we would like you to bring High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role GPD (Good Documentation Practice) experience is strongly preferred Forklift operating experience is a plus Basic technical and math skills What's in it for you There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
