In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring products move efficiently, safely, and accurately while leading a team to meet daily goals in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily shipping operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and on-time delivery Lead, coach, and develop shipping associates, including performance management and training Coordinate loading, unloading, picking, and staging of inbound and outbound shipments Verify shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage prevention Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliation Ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, and security procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment Communicate effectively across shifts and departments to support operational continuity Plan staffing and schedules to meet workload demands Lead shift meetings to communicate priorities and drive continuous improvement Prepare and maintain reports related to inventory, production, and employee timekeeping Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes Address employee concerns, complaints, and escalate as needed Perform other duties as assigned Requirements/Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of warehouse and/or supervisory experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Experience with shipping and inventory management systems Forklift certification (or ability to obtain and maintain) Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general warehouse/office technology Ability to perform physical job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed Experience in a union environment is a plus Equal Opportunity Employer Lewis Bakeries is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug-Free Workplace.
