Thisis a fully onsite role Monday-Friday from about 7am-4pm in Indianapolis, IN. Whatyou'll do Operations& Team Leadership Supervise and coach shipping team members to achieve performance, safety, and service objectives. Plan and coordinate daily shipping activities across multiple locations. Manage employee scheduling, timekeeping, overtime approvals, and workforce productivity. Foster strong working relationships with customers, site leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Shipping& Logistics Management Oversee all aspects of domestic and international pallet shipping operations. Manage the Heat-Treated Pallet Program, including inventory control and vendor coordination. Ensure shipments comply with customer requirements, company procedures, and applicable regulations. Coordinate with transportation providers and couriers to ensure timely shipment processing and delivery. Investigate and resolve shipping issues while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. Process and support international shipping documentation and AES filings when required. Compliance,Safety & Quality Maintain compliance with all shipping, export, regulatory, and company requirements. Ensure all work areas remain audit-ready and support scheduled and unscheduled audits. Participate in and lead Root Cause Analysis investigations as needed. Promote a strong safety culture by reporting observations, submitting work orders, and supporting safety initiatives. Maintain required certifications, including PIT/ Forklift equipment operation and Export Compliance training. Inventory& Documentation Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels of shipping supplies and materials. Submit monthly supply orders and manage vendor communications. Maintain accurate shipping records and archive documentation according to company guidelines. Provide regular shipping metrics and operational reporting to management. Assist with physical transfer documentation and package tracking activities. CustomerService & Communication Deliver prompt, professional support through email, phone, instant messaging, and in-person interactions. Provide shipping expertise and support to internal customers and affiliate locations. Support the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure shipping-related SharePoint resources and communications remain accurate and up to date. Whatyou'll need Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PDF applications. Prior forklift experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience supervising teams in a shipping, logistics, warehouse, or distribution environment. Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes and compliance requirements preferred. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and move materials safely using proper equipment and team-lift procedures when necessary.AboutCBRE:
