Coordinator-Shift Essential Job Duties:

Schedules Materials Specialists on shifts, collaborates with the other shift coordinator for shift overlap coverage. Conducts surveillance of the storerooms and PAR closets, evaluating cleanliness of the supplies, supply bins and facility. First point of contact for staff issues, and reports of supply availability or problems filling requests. Ensures the use of FIFO method. Leads scheduled cycle counts according to supply criticality, usage and cost. Oversee the transporting of supplies, equipment following safety protocols. Answers calls and requests by customers and fills requests. Assist with equipment finding, moving, cleaning as needed. Reports on issues with supply availability to the manager. Conducts physical inventory on a regular basis. Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policies and procedures. Demonstrates awareness of Supply Chain activities. Education, Training & Experience High school degree or equivalent required. Two years of supply chain experience required. Function grasp of standard written and verbal English. Accomplished at basic business math. Basic computer and computer keyboard experience. Flexible work schedule to meet the demands of the department. Experience in inventory methods preferred.
