About the Role As a Distribution Operations Lead, you will oversee the end-to-end fulfillment cycle, ensuring that order processing, packaging, and shipping workflows are optimized for maximum efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in driving team performance, managing departmental metrics, and implementing process improvements that directly impact customer satisfaction and operational throughput. Responsibilities Direct daily production activities to ensure order accuracy, timely collation, and seamless shipment processing. Analyze operational data and key performance indicators to identify bottlenecks and implement workflow enhancements. Manage staffing levels and team development, including onboarding and continuous training initiatives. Facilitate cross-departmental communication to align production schedules with customer delivery requirements. Evaluate and recommend automated picking systems and shipping technologies to reduce freight costs and improve speed. Maintain departmental policy compliance while fostering a productive and collaborative team environment. Prepare and present performance status reports to leadership to support data-driven decision-making. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a fulfillment or distribution environment. Strong proficiency in workflow management and process improvement methodologies. Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. Excellent analytical skills with experience in tracking and reporting operational metrics. Preferred Skills Experience with automated order picking systems and logistics software.
