Shift Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm (40 hrs/wk) Job Summary This is a great opportunity to join the University of Kentucky Supply Center as a Materials Coordinator! In this position you will be responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory and timely fulfillment while maintaining strong housekeeping standards and supervising 2-3 full-time employees. Key Responsibilities Oversee warehouse operations, including order pulling, stock placement, and inventory accuracy. Maintain excellent housekeeping procedures and safe, organized work areas. Work independently and make decisions based on current work load concerning work assignments and methods used. Other duties as assigned. People Leadership Supervise and support 2-3 full-time employees. Train direct reports and build a high-performing team. Required Qualifications Strong understanding of warehouse procedures and best practices, with extensive experience applying both. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented and organized, with consistent follow-through. Comfortable using technology, including computers, scanners, and smartphones. Familiarity with Facilities personnel and how their needs change day to day. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, and sit at a computer for extended periods. Preferred Skills in SAP Materials Management and related enterprise-wide software.
Skills / Knowledge
/ Abilities PM and MM modules of SAP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience Bachelor's plus 4 years related experience preferred. Valid Driver's License preferred.
