Manufacturing Experience Opportunity to Grow into Supervisory Positions Summary Glaz-Tech is looking to fill the position of a Shipping/Receiving Handler . We are looking for a responsible, adaptable and self-driven individual looking to grow in the manufacturing industry. The job functions include handling, packaging and loading/unloading glass panes that will be produced into dual pane windows, shower doors, table tops, mirrors, etc.

Responsibilities may include:

Manage all receiving and loading operations, including scheduling of deliveries, unloading/loading of vehicles and maintaining route organization. Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processed Monitor route efficiency with emphasis on load value, route length, and frequency Supervise and train receiving and loading staff Monitor the accuracy of all receiving and shipping records, including inventory and stock levels Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment Identify and resolve receiving, shipping, and inventory discrepancies Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate operations Oversight of vehicles maintaining proper documentation and preventative maintenance schedules Develop and implement strategies to optimize receiving processes

Requirements:

Relevant experience in receiving and inventory management Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks Ability to safely lift 50-75 pounds Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/8" Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day Ability to complete simple computer task Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills and ability to communicate in
