Immediately Job Description The Canton Public Schools is seeking an exceptional and dynamic candidate to serve as an Fleet Coordinator. The Fleet Coordinator is a critical position and will join a vibrant and supportive team that places a high priority on collaboration, creativity, flexibility, and commitment to the goals of the District and to our students, families and staff. Job Summary The Fleet Coordinator is a part time position responsible for the coordination, tracking, and administrative management of Canton Public Schools vehicle fleet. This role supports operations by ensuring vehicles are properly maintained, compliant, and available to meet business needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in asset management and is mechanically inclined.
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Operations & Coordination Maintain accurate fleet records, including vehicle assignments, mileage, inspections, registrations, and insurance documentation Monitor vehicle utilization and support optimization of fleet resources Maintenance & Compliance Schedule and track routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely service Ensure fleet compliance with DOT, state, and company safety requirements Track recalls, warranty work, and compliance deadlines Reporting & Administration Maintain fleet data in internal systems and spreadsheets Generate reports related to fleet usage, costs, incidents, and maintenance trends Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and expense reconciliation related to fleet operations Safety & Incident Management Support accident reporting and incident documentation Coordinate vehicle repairs and insurance claims as needed Promote safe driving practices and adherence to company policies Ensure all daily driver checks are documented and kept with vehicle Ensure driver training records are kept up to date
Compensation and Work Conditions:
Approximately 20 hours per week. Benefits Eligible

$25 Per Hour
