Description:

This position will help with the oversight of day-to-day outbound operations for 2nd Shift, Sunday through Thursday, in our warehouse/distribution center, while enforcing all safety policies & practices, ensuring training and development of new and existing employees, and providing a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Follow and promote all safety initiatives Ensure all work is performed according to J Polep procedures and standards for dock operations Mentor, coach and train/ cross-train employees; provide consistent feedback concerning strengths and areas in need of improvement Directly supervise all activities of dockworkers and support personnel engaged in loading trucks and trailers Coordinate work assignments, monitor performance, and provide training on relevant job duties Assist in the loading and unloading of trailers Must be able to lift and/or move up to sixty (60) pounds Other duties as assigned Benefits Dental Benefits, Medical Benefits, Paid Vacations. 401K Life Insurance, short term disability, long term disability Our 6 major paid Holidays are, New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas, after completing your 90 days. Qualifications:

Strong team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment 2+ years of supervisor experience Must possess demonstrated leadership ability Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of operations Must be able to read and clearly communicate in English. Spanish is a plus.
