Mark Richey Woodworking is a Nationally Acclaimed Architectural Millwork Company and is one of the country's greenest manufacturers. Our 130,000sf shop is run entirely by renewable energy. Our services include monumental custom work for corporate, institutional, retail, restaurant and residential clients. We are currently seeking an experienced Shipping Supervisor to join our team and work on the most prestigious and challenging projects in the industry. As Shipping Supervisor your responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Coordinate with Finish department daily removal of finished items and allocate to appropriate area. Organize/plan trucking (MRW trucks) of goods and drivers through each Job Delivery Schedule prior to ship date . Price and receive approval to facilitate the loading of long-haul trucks (hired/) after receiving order confirmation from PM. Done through RFD. (Request for Delivery form provided by PM) Attend Weekly Production Meeting to discuss upcoming weeks schedule needs. Develop a weekly plan and implement it to staff. Coordinate pickups with Project Managers / APM's through their vendor schedule. Consider efficiency of trucks. For example; trucks on road. Coordinate ship lists/Drawings and bills of lading. Coordinate with Job Captains, label and ready shipments by schedule. Coordinate, label, and organize finished products in Warehouse by delivery number. Operate forklift only after proper training and approval by the Shop Foreman. Build crates and other vessels utilizing approved method of shipping through job shipping kick off form. Load trucks, as well as prepare millwork for transport. Prepare bills of lading and get approval from Project Manager/Job Captain prior to departure. Coordinate loaded trucks with Job Captains. (Check loads) Document long haul trucks with pictures of loaded millwork. Maintain a written training plan for each member of the Dept. Maintain accurate shipping records. Maintain an organized Warehouse. Maintain valid Department of Transportation license and excellent driving record Deliver materials and millwork punctually, safely, without incident.
