Job Description
Job Overview Managing and executing all activities of the warehouse in support of the overall growth, promoting an overall image of excellence through strong work ethic, leadership by example and the consistent delivery of excellent service throughout the warehouse operation. Be able to prepare paperwork for pickup and deliveries, assist with loading and unloading the vehicles, inventory jobs, maintain the needs of the department leads, prepare items for delivery, operate a forklift, able to delegate duties to coworkers, general day to day tasks for the facility and other duties as assigned. Summary We are seeking a Warehouse Lead to join our team at Prism Specialty Restoration. This role is crucial in overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, and facilitating the timely restoration of items for our clients. Located in the United States, this position plays a vital role in our mission to help individuals recover from challenging situations. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy. Oversee shipping and receiving processes to guarantee timely delivery of items. Collaborate with team members to optimize production planning and order fulfillment. Implement lean practices to improve warehouse processes and reduce waste. Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices and safety protocols. Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory . Requirements Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and transportation management systems is preferred. Forklift certification is preferred. 16ft. - 26ft. Box Truck driving experience. Looking for a self motivated, reliable person with the ability to have a strong attention to detail, maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working area, follow and maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, able to work in a team environment, and willing to follow direction from management.
