Job Description

Maine Radon and Water Treatment is a leading company in the radon air, water treatment and air filtration for all of Southern and Central Maine. is looking for a dependable, hands-on Warehouse & Operations Lead to help keep our team organized, prepared, and moving. This is a lead position for someone who likes order, takes ownership, notices what needs to be done, and follows through without needing constant direction. The primary responsibility is keeping the warehouse, inventory, and job-preparation process running smoothly. The position will also provide light field-service support, including routine filter changes, water sample collection, radon testing, and other basic maintenance tasks after training. It has excellent room for growth as well as additional compensation opportunities. What You'll Do
  • Take ownership of warehouse organization, cleanliness, and day-to-day readiness
  • Receive, organize, and properly store equipment, parts, materials, and supplies
  • Maintain inventory levels and help identify shortages before they affect scheduled work
  • Pull and prepare equipment and materials for upcoming installations and service jobs
  • Help ensure technicians have what they need before leaving for the day
  • Maintain organized systems for commonly used parts, tools, and equipment
  • Assist with inventory counts and inventory-control procedures
  • Help maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and work areas
  • Perform light facility and maintenance work as needed
  • Assist with routine field-service work such as filter changes, basic equipment checks, and sample collection
  • Assist with radon testing, including placement and retrieval of testing equipment, after training
  • Deliver or pick up materials, samples, equipment, or supplies when needed
  • Properly document completed work, testing, samples, and job information in the company system
  • Help solve day-to-day operational issues before they become larger problems
  • Work closely with management, office staff, and field technicians to keep work flowing efficiently What We're Looking For

  • Able to prioritize multiple needs without constant direction
  • Hands-on and mechanically inclined
  • Willing to learn our equipment, products, and processes
  • Comfortable using basic technology, tablets, and software
  • Professional and able to communicate well with customers and coworkers
  • Able to identify a problem and help move it toward a solution
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Able to safely lift and move warehouse and installation materials Experience in warehouse operations, inventory, maintenance, construction, plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, radon, or another skilled-trade environment is helpful, but reliability, attitude, and willingness to learn are just as important.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
