Casting Shift Supervisor Details:

Direct Hire position $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 /annually First Shift Oversee day-to-day foundry operations and maintain a strong floor presence to achieve production, quality, and productivity goals. Lead production teams, establish work schedules, assign responsibilities, and support employee hiring, training, evaluation, and development. Review production schedules, staffing, inventory, equipment, and operational reports to identify and resolve production issues. Partner with maintenance, engineering, and other departments to address equipment problems and implement process improvements. Enforce safety, OSHA, environmental, and PPE requirements while supporting efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.

Casting Shift Supervisor Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university. 3-7 years of related experience. Strong knowledge of foundry equipment, including melting furnaces, sand systems, and cranes, along with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Proven ability to manage teams, solve complex operational problems, and make data-driven decisions. Ability to work in a high-heat, dusty, noisy foundry environment and maintain a flexible schedule to support off-shift or weekend needs.
