Warehouse Supervisor

Warehouse Supervisor - Wixom, MI PrideStaff is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for manufacturing and distribution facility in Wixom. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of our supply chain, ensuring that safety standards are met, and leading a team to hit daily production and shipping targets. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, including material handlers and shipping/receiving clerks.

Operational Efficiency:

Oversee daily activities including picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management to ensure 100% on-time delivery.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce all OSHA and internal safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident workplace.

Inventory Accuracy:

Conduct regular cycle counts and audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Process Improvement:

Identify bottlenecks in the warehouse workflow and implement Lean or 5S strategies to improve throughput.

Equipment Oversight:

Ensure all forklifts and warehouse machinery are maintained and operated safely.

Qualifications & Skills Experience:

3-5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).

Leadership Style:

Proven ability to motivate a diverse team and handle conflict resolution professionally.

Logistics Knowledge:

Solid understanding of LTL/TL shipping, bill of lading (BOL) documentation, and freight scheduling.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Compensation / Pay

Rate (Up to): $65,000.00 - $75,000.00
