Essential Functions:
Warehouse Operations Supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, storage, inventory management, and material handling. Ensure warehouse operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and procedures. Organize warehouse layouts and storage methods to maximize space utilization and productivity. Monitor and maintain housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse. Shipping & Receiving Oversee receiving processes to ensure materials are accurately inspected, documented, and stored. Collaborate with Logistics Manager the outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery to customers and internal locations. Verify shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy and compliance. Work with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve shipment discrepancies and transportation issues. Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems. Lead cycle count programs and physical inventory activities. Investigate and resolve inventory variances and root causes. Monitor inventory levels and partner with Purchasing and Planning to support operational requirements. Team Leadership Supervise, train, coach, and develop warehouse personnel. Assign daily work priorities and monitor employee performance. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and employee development activities. Safety & Continuous Improvement Ensure compliance with company safety standards. Conduct regular safety meetings and warehouse inspections. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, on-time shipments, receiving accuracy, and productivity. Required Qualifications /Skills:
Three (3) to Five (5) years manufacturing or distribution leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Exposure to operations, including manufacturing, distribution, order fulfillment and inventory systems. Working knowledge of ERP, warehouse management, computerized database and spreadsheet formats. Ability to support management with assessing current environment, team and production capabilities, needs of the business and make directional changes to support commitments to customers. Leadership- lead fulfillment department; take charge, and offer suggestions and direction. Clearly articulate requirements and standards to employees. Adaptability
