Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, manage inventory control, and ensure the seamless flow of materials through our logistics network. Your leadership will drive process improvements, foster team collaboration, and uphold safety standards to optimize warehouse efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse distribution activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Lead and motivate warehouse team members to achieve operational goals while maintaining high safety standards. Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques. Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely delivery and shipment schedules are met consistently. Enforce OSHA regulations and safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all staff. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations, including distribution center management and logistics coordination. Proficiency with inventory management systems, Microsoft Office suite, and warehouse management systems (WMS). Strong team leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and develop warehouse staff effectively. Knowledge of materials handling equipment operation such as forklifts and other heavy lifting machinery. Excellent managerial communication skills oral and written, to facilitate clear instructions, feedback, and team collaboration. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies like lean management to optimize workflows. Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$30.00 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
