Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Yard Foreman directly supervises yard staff, including general laborers, drivers, and equipment operators. This role provides daily direction, training, and support to ensure yard activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. The Yard Foreman is responsible for delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and maintaining accountability within the yard team while fostering a safe and collaborative work environment. What You'll Do Oversee daily yard operations to ensure safe, efficient handling of construction materials, tools, and heavy equipment in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Supervise and support yard personnel, including laborers, drivers, and equipment operators, while assisting with training and workforce coordination. Coordinate equipment and material deliveries, pickups, staging, and dispatch to support project schedules and field operations. Maintain accurate inventory, equipment logs, inspections, and related documentation, ensuring DOT, OSHA, and company compliance requirements are met. Serve as a key point of contact for yard operations by resolving issues, supporting administrative reporting, and collaborating with project and fleet management teams. What You Bring Lead and supervise yard operations, directing crews while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Operate and oversee construction equipment and yard machinery, including forklifts and loaders, with strong knowledge of renewable energy construction materials and tools. Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and jobsite safety standards while maintaining accurate inventory, reporting, and yard records. Coordinate effectively with multiple departments and utilize basic computer systems for inventory tracking and operational reporting. High school diploma or equivalent required with 3-5 years of yard, construction, or related experience; renewable energy or EPC experience, supervisory experience, and CDL preferred. Ability to travel full-time and work in active jobsite environments required. Ready to Build What's Next?
