Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily warehousing, distribution, and logistics operations at our high volume thrift store. This role is a vital part of the organization, focused on maximizing efficiency, productivity, inventory accuracy, and safety within the facility. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the coordination of deliveries and distribution of merchandise, while communicating with customers and in-house staff. The warehouse manager will also assume responsibility for organization of the back of house, including donation pick ups, while ensuring compliance with company policies and all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. Ensure accurate inventory control and stock management processes. Maintain optimal warehouse layout and storage systems for efficient space utilization. Manage, train, and motivate staff to achieve performance targets. Coordinate deliveries of mattresses/furniture Ability to partner with donors for distribution Schedule donation pick ups from donors, coordinate rotation of merchandise as needed. Maintain safety and adhere to OSHA regulations. Coordinate and schedule deliveries to customers as needed. Proper phone etiquette and time management skills. Effectively communicate with supervisors and staff to ensure a seamless workflow. Adhere to CRCI company policies

Requirements:

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management. Understanding of inventory tracking, shipping/receiving, and logistics coordination. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations (OSHA or equivalent). Ability to motivate, train, and develop warehouse staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This job operates in an open, warehouse retail environment. Ability to safely lift 50 pounds on an ongoing basis. Communication skills for sharing CRCI's mission and purpose, and interacting effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and varied languages. This position is very active and requires and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, and lifting throughout the entire workday. This employee must frequently lift, move, and/or load items over 50 pounds with mechanical assistance and/or a team lift.
