In this pivotal role, you will oversee the receipt, inspection, and proper documentation of incoming shipments, ensuring seamless integration into our inventory management systems. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize warehouse workflows, and uphold safety standards, all while fostering a motivated and efficient team. Work Hours & Schedule This is a full-time position requiring flexibility across early morning and late-night operations to manage high-volume receiving schedules:

•12:00 PM (6-hour shift) Duties Supervise daily receiving activities, including unloading trucks, verifying shipment accuracy, and inspecting goods for quality and damages. Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movement and update records in real-time. Lead team members in material handling tasks using forklifts and other heavy lifting equipment, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Implement process improvements to streamline receiving workflows, reduce errors, and enhance overall efficiency using lean management principles. Conduct regular inventory control checks to maintain accurate stock levels and support inventory management goals. Enforce OSHA safety standards and promote a safe working environment for all warehouse staff. Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize distribution center operations, including shipping & receiving schedules and 3PL (third-party logistics) partnerships. Provide managerial communication and team leadership to motivate staff, conduct performance reviews, and facilitate ongoing training in warehouse operations. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution or distribution center operations with a focus on shipping & receiving. Demonstrated warehouse supervisor experience with team management responsibilities. Ability to work non-standard, early morning, and overnight hours as outlined in the schedule. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory control practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes. Skilled in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, Ride-on Jacks, and other warehouse machinery. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with OSHA regulations, lean management techniques, and safety standards specific to warehousing. Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards. Experience working within e-commerce or 3PL environments is preferred. CDL is not required but would be great to have.
