About the role About the role Our Clark location is part of our Taste Division, producing flavors and ingredients. Our Clark facility is unique in the sense they have two buildings. The North building has a fruitier smell to it, the teams in that building are producing natural flavorings and essential oils. The South building is the complete opposite, it will have savory and garlic smells because the team is producing seasonings for meat, chicken broth, and beef gravy. 160 Terminal Ave, Clark, NJ 07066 Pay Rate/Hourly Rate/shift differential 16 - 36 (+ 2nd Shift Differential) Shift/Working Hours 2PM - 10PM Key Responsibility As the Warehouse Lead, you help drive smooth, safe, and efficient movement of materials across the site — from inbound deliveries and bulk liquid tanker unloading to outbound shipments and internal transfers. You'll guide daily dock activities, support a team of warehouse operators, and ensure all materials are handled, documented, and stored correctly in accordance with site procedures and GMP standards. Your leadership keeps operations flowing and inventory accurate. Key responsibilities Coordinate and lead daily dock operations including inbound receiving, outbound shipping, and internal material movements. Oversee your team Processing inbound materials, ensuring all safety and sanitation procedures are followed. Verify freight and materials against bills of lading (BOLs), purchase orders, and production requirements for accuracy and condition. Direct and support operators in SAP transactions (goods issue, goods receipt, transfer postings) and proper RF scanner usage. Perform and review inspections on all areas of the warehouse and logistics areas; and report non-conformances promptly. Communicate and collaborate with Production, Quality, and Scheduling teams to align daily priorities and resolve delivery or shipment issues. Monitor dock assignments and workflow to meet daily shipment targets and maintain dock compliance. Organize and lead inventory rotation and staging to support inbound/offloading and outbound loading efficiency. Maintain housekeeping excellence on dock and warehouse floors per GMP and safety standards; ensure adherence to Allergen Control procedures. Train, mentor, and provide ongoing feedback to warehouse operators to develop skill and accuracy on shift. Act as the point of contact for carriers and drivers during loading/unloading activities. Prepare shift documentation and escalate equipment or process issues to management as needed. Qualifications and skills Qualifications Required- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of warehouse or dock experience; at least 1 in a lead or coordinator capacity.
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
- Strong computer literacy and documentation skills. Preferred
- Prior experience in material receiving and shipping.
- Familiarity with
SAP ECC, RF
systems, and inventory control processes.- Knowledge of performance metrics (OTIF, order accuracy, and dock compliance).
