Operations Team Lead

Duties Supervise daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to meet operational targets Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing work environment Oversee inventory control procedures using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to ensure accurate stock levels and data integrity Coordinate logistics activities with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline distribution processes and improve delivery times Implement process improvements related to warehouse workflows, safety protocols (OSHA compliance), and materials handling techniques to enhance efficiency Manage forklift operations, heavy lifting tasks, and mechanical troubleshooting to maintain safe and effective warehouse functions Conduct regular safety audits, enforce OSHA standards, and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members Requirements Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision within a fast-paced distribution environment Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS), AS400, and logistics software tools Hands-on experience with warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and inventory control Valid forklift certification and mechanical knowledge for safe operation of warehouse equipment Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety compliance Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff effectively Knowledge of e-commerce fulfillment processes and 3PL operations is highly desirable Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing manual tasks as needed Join us as an Operations Team Lead to drive operational excellence in our distribution center!
